Date of Passing: Feb 13, 2003
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDARRYL LAWRENCE SCHLAG It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our son Darryl, aged 37 years on February 13, 2003. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Jennifer and Larissa and his parents, Lawrence and Marlene. He will also be lovingly remembered by his grandmother Kay Vermeulen, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Darryl graduated from Murdoch McKay School. He worked for Burns Meats from 1984 to 1998. He was presently employed with Springfield Industries. Our friend Darryl was a wonderful person to all who really knew him. All he wanted in life was to be happy and loved. He was happiest when he was in the outdoors, fishing at Deception Lake or Lockport. Darryl spoke timelessly about his love and affection for his daughters, Jenn and Riss, how he loved them and missed them, and wanted them to do well in life. Darryl will be lovingly remembered by his closest and dearest friends. Darryl was, above all, a man who suffered pain in private but now he is peacefully sleeping, resting at last. His days of pain and troubles are past. In silence he suffered, in patience he bore, till God took him home to suffer no more. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 18 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. No. 1 East at Green Acres Lane, with viewing one half hour prior to service. Interment will be held at at later date at Green Acres Memorial Gardens. GREEN ACRES FUNERAL CHAPEL 222-3241
